| Exemptions
To administer the provisions
of the legislation/regulations, terms and conditions
of the licence and the codes of practice, the BA is
given certain powers to grant exemptions to the licensees
for deviations from the standard requirements or restrictions,
primarily on grounds of better presentation or in
the interests of better viewing. The circumstances
under which the licensee can apply for an exemption
from the BA are specified in the related legislation,
licensing conditions and codes of practice.
