Sanctions

To enforce the provisions of the legislation, licensing conditions and the codes of practice, the BA is empowered to sanction licensees for breaches.

Licensees are always given the opportunity to submit representations before the BA makes a decision on the sanction. Licensees can appeal to the CE in C if they are aggrieved by any decision of the BA.
